Vijayawada: Renowned violinist Dr L Subramaniam paid a visit to the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA), said CEO Dr E Sivanagi Reddy here on Saturday.

Dr Reddy explained the activities of CCVA to Dr Subramaniam, and the latter, along with the former, went around Art Gallery, Literary Centre and Research Library. He said that Dr Subramaniam penned a book on ‘Euphony’ and composed many symphonies ‘Fantasy on Vedic Chants’, ‘The concert of two violins’ and ‘Shantipriya’. Subramaniam composed music for Salam Bombay, Mississipi Masala, Little Buddha and Cotton Mary, he reminded.

Dr Subramaniam complimented Y Harish Chandra Prasad, founder and chief mentor, Malaxmi Group, for establishing the Cultural Centre and encouraging artists and artisans. Sandeep Mandava, CEO, Malaxmi Property, and Y Amit and others were present.
