Visakhapatnam: Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao, Minister for IT and Public Relations Palle Raghunatha Reddy, who were here to participate in the inaugural session of Visakha Utsav, visited Indira Gandhi Zoological Park here on Friday.
The Speaker and Minister Raghunatha Reddy were impressed with the upkeep of the zoo and appreciated the efforts of the management, said zoo curator B Vijay Kumar.
N Prateep Kumar, additional principal chief conservator of forests, accompanied them and explained about the zoo park resilience and restoration of the park aftermath Hudhud cyclone.
They also visited Chimpanzee, White Tiger, Butterfly Park and Giraffe enclosures during their visit.
