Vijayawada: State Congress Committee president N Raghuveera Reddy blamed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for his keenness to induct Nara Lokesh into Cabinet.

In a press release here on Saturday, Raghuveera said Muslims and Tribal sections were not given berth in State Cabinet during the three years tenure of TDP government.

But, he said, the Chief Minister was eager for induction his son though he failed in practicing social equality and did not give importance to party seniors in the Cabinet.

“Chief Minister has to answer to people why he is ignoring seniors in the party while he is eager on the induction of his son into the cabinet” Raghuveera said.

Recalling the Chief Minister’s claim that his family members would not involve in the government affairs, Raghuveera asked about the meetings of Lokesh with Ministers and MPs.

“On what status Lokesh is holding meeting with Ministers and MPs” he enquired. Chandrababu Naidu knows very well that he would not come to power in the next election, so he was eager to make Lokesh as Minister, the Congress leader said.

Raghuveera also charged Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu for his claims that the Centre fulfilled 90 per cent of its promises to Andhra Pradesh.

“What did BJP do on Special Category Status to AP, Railway Zone to Visakhapatnam, special package to Uttarandhra and Rayalaseema district and industrial corridors “he questioned.

Raghuveera said both Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu obtained 100 marks in making false propaganda.
