World Bank team visits capital Amaravati
A three-member World Bank team headed by Raghu Kesavan visited Amaravati capital region on Thursday.
Vijayawada: A three-member World Bank team headed by Raghu Kesavan visited Amaravati capital region on Thursday.
In the backdrop of World Bank conceding to extend loan for infrastructure projects in capital region, the bankers have been visiting the capital for quite some time.
The team first met Commissioner of Capital Region Development Authority Ch Sreedhar at his office. As part of field tour, they also visited Seed Access Road, Venkatapalem Panchayat Office, Secretariat and Assembly.
It also met Chief Secretary Tucker at his chambers in Secretariat and elicited required information.
Amaravati Development Corporation Chairman Lakshmi Parthasarathy Bhasker and Ch Sreedhar accompanied the team during the meeting with the Chief Secretary. The team also held discussion with AP CRDA Principal Secretary Ajay Jain.
