Kakinada: A sniffer dog of the district AR Police died here on Friday due to illness. According to the police sources, the sniffer dog ‘Dolly’ was trained by the department in 2005 to help the department detect explosive materials and look after security of several VVIP persons.
The sniffer dog ‘Dolly’ stood second in a state-level police duty meet in 2010.
Dolly was cremated with police honors in Friday. The cremation was attended by the AR Police staff Raj Kumar, Muralidhar, Y Pal, Appala Raju and others.
