Godrej Agrovet launches ‘Aqua Lab’

Nellore: Godrej Agrovet Limited (GAVL), a diversified agri business company dedicated to improving the productivity of Indian farmers launched the Aqua Lab for fish and shrimp culture here on Friday.

Diagnostic services like Aqua Lab helps farmers to identify predisposing factors well in time and allow farmers to take preventive measures to correct them.

The Aqua Lab will conduct tests on salinity, pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Alkalinity, Hardness, Iron, Hydrogen Sulfide and Vibrio count.

The Aqua Lab will benefit farmers by screening the seed stock for Vibrio species. Periodical water and microbial tests will aid proper applications and better management. At a later stage, real time PCR test will also be included for diagnosing viral diseases.
