Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh government has received invitation from the Government of UK to showcase the glory of Amaravati and the future plans of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for the development of new capital at the Trade Summit to be held from February 20-22 in London, UK.
Leading global level companies, investors, entrepreneurs from all over the world will take part in the Trade Summit. The State Government will send a delegation to UK to represent the State of Andhra Pradesh and showcase the plans being made by the State Government for construction of the world class capital Amaravati in a phased manner.
Earlier, the CM had deputed a delegation to the UK with the team consisting of Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development P Narayana, CRDA Commissioner Cherukuri Sridhar and other officials to interact with the representatives of the UK Government, which is also showing keen interest for the development of new capital. Media advisor, Energy department and CRDA A Chandrasekhar Reddy informed about the details of Trade summit and invitation received by AP Government in a press release on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister conducted a video conference on Tuesday and spoke to the Ministers and higher officials. He also discussed the arrangements to be made for taking part in the Trade Summit.
The delegation of AP Government would showcase the plan of the new capital with nine core cities- Sports city, Media city, Justice city, Knowledge city, Electronic city, Government city, Finance city, Tourism City and Health city in the new capital Amaravati during the Trade Summit in London.
The AP Government is planning three lakh to 5.5 lakh jobs in the State in the next 10 years by developing various industries in different sectors.
