Amalapuram: The foremost task of the newly elected joint action committee (JAC) is going to work on solving the issues confronted by the government employees, announced the JAC president Bopparaju Venkateswarlu.

While addressing the media along with the leaders of government employees of Konaseema JAC here at Cotton guest house on Friday, the JAC president said the APNGO association comprises of non-gazetted officers of various associations and the association is just like any other outfit.

Ruling out rivalry with the existing APNGO, Venkateswarlu clarified that the new JAC would fight alongside the APNGO for the rights of all employees irrespective of their union affiliation.

The JAC chief criticised the government's policy on the contributory pension scheme. He even took a potshot at APNGO's president Ashok Babu for siding with the government thereby distancing from the prob CPS employees’ state president Muni Prasad, co-operative employees’ association president Perraju, leader of treasury employees’ association Murali, Tahsildar N Chittibabu along with the leaders of Konaseema JAC Bandaru Rammohan Rao, K Sathibabau, Undru Babji and others were present in the press meet.
