Vijayawada: In continuation to the strategic relations between Andhra Pradesh and Japan and subsequent to the MoU signed between Andhra Pradesh and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Government of Japan, on October 22, 2015, a delegation made detailed presentations to the APCRDA, Amaravati Development Corporation and Vijayawada police on various subjects here on Saturday.

The Government of Japan delegation led by Haruhiko Andoh, Deputy Director-General for International Projects Promotion, Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry (METI).

Haruhiko Andoh said that relations between Andhra Pradesh and Japan had been priority for both leaders, including Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Yosuke Takagi, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan.

Rama Manohar Rao, Additional Commissioner, APCRDA, Rana, DCP Vijayawada, and other officials from APCRDA and Amaravati Development Corporation attended the presentation. As part of the presentation, top Japanese companies made technical presentations on various projects for Amaravati using top Japanese technology.

Various Japanese manufacturers undertook detailed feasibility studies for potential projects in Amaravati and arrived at the best technologies to achieve the vision of a smart and sustainable city.

Following were some of the projects proposed by various top end Japanese companies- Data Centre and cloud computingi, weather radar system, water supply system and traffic control system.
