TRS casts agenda slur on Kodanda
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Saturday alleged the TJAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram was pursuing a political agenda since beginning.
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Saturday alleged the TJAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram was pursuing a political agenda since beginning.
At a press conference, MLC Karne Prabhakar said of late, Kodandaram had become the mouthpiece of Congress party.
Prabhakar said when the agitation for separate state was at its peak, K Chandrashekhar Rao had constituted JAC during to bring all like-minded people on one platform. It was KCR who made Kodandaram the Chairman of TJAC.
He said that the very purpose of forming JAC had now lost relevance after formation of Telangana. While majority of groups have come out of JAC, Kodandaram has been carrying forward his political agenda with the support of some letter-head organisations, he alleged.
The TRS MLC said that there was no truth in Kodandaram's allegations in regard to filling up of vacancies in various departments.He claimed that so far 32,000 vacancies have been filled.
The Chief Minister, he said was firm on his commitment to provide jobs to one lakh youth. He asked as to why Kodandaram was speaking in the tone of Congress party. He alleged that the JAC chief was repeating the same things which were said four days ago by TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy.
Stating that Kodandaram has been exposed, Prabhakar said that the TJAC chief has every right to float a new political party but he should restrain from inciting jobless youth into agitation against the State government.
