Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would visit Tirumala Tirupati, the abode of Lord Venkateswara in Andhra Pradesh, for two days from tomorrow to fulfil the vows he had made for realisation of separate Telangana state. Rao, accompanied by his wife, other family members and state ministers, would leave for Tirupati by a special flight tomorrow evening and halt for the night at Tirumala hills, according to a release issued by his office tonight.

Rao would have 'darshan' of the presiding deity in the morning hours on Wednesday. He would offer golden 'Saligrama' necklace and a 'Kante' with five rows to the god on behalf of Telangana government, it said. After darshan at Tirumala, Rao would go to Tiruchanoor near Tirupati and offer prayers to the presiding deity of Padmavati Ammavaru.

He would present a nose stud to the goddess. He would return to Hyderabad thereafter, the release added. Rao had made vows for realisation of separate Telangana in the name of gods of different famous temples during the separate statehood agitation.
