Tirupati: All the twins studying in the same school delighted the visitors on the Twins Day celebrated in the Spring Dale Public School at Karakambadi Road in Tirupati on Monday. There were 74 twins under a single roof is a great record and never heard of, said the school correspondent KS Vasu.
He said that no other school has got that privilege of having these many twins in the campus. They also get similar marks in exams. The teachers of the schools said that they could not find who’s who at times and it leads to comedy of errors. It was a visual retreat watching them and the 148 parents competed with each other to take selfies with all the twins.
The principal KR Anuradha Gopal, headmistress V Prameela Krishnan, PRO T Sambasiva Reddy, teachers and students participated in the function. When asked about the general attitude of twins, children specialist Dr A Kireeti said that there would be no difference of attitude or ambitions between the twins. Also, the sibling rivalry is very low in them.
Only thing is at the time of birth their weight will be below normal. The problems if any will be there for the first 10-15 days. Thereafter absolutely their behaviour, health and other activities are quite normal, he said. If there are twins in the family earlier, the chances of giving birth to twins again may be there. Also, if any one uses medicines for infertility there is a chance of giving birth to twins, Dr Kireeti said. KN Balaji, the father of non identical twins KB Vishal and Kb Varsha said that they both are equally intelligent.
Vishal is having dominating nature whereas Varsha always gives up. Their food habits also slightly vary though they exhibit the same sleeping posture. Their growth is also good and they are studying 5th class now. But they won’t spend a minute without the other, he added.
