Visakhapatnam: All India Management Association’s (New Delhi) Diamond Jubilee Foundation Day, organised by Visakhapatnam Management Association (a unit of AIMA) in collaboration with the Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Andhra University, held on the campus on Tuesday.

The topic for discussion was ‘Fast Forward-From Catch-up to Leadership’.
Prof G Nageswara Rao, Vice-Chancellor, was the chief guest and said in the fast changing business environment, one should cope up with the speed.

He asked students to hone their skills required for future requirements.
Sushil Mulchandani, Chief Operating Officer, Visakha Container Terminal Private Limited, deliberated the importance of being a leader.

He also insisted the importance of being a resource person and a role model for the subordinates so as to feel the presence of the leader to lead the process.

He asked the students to opt for more career aspects that they do have within the management programme like Logistics Management and Port Management.
V Raghupathy, Global HR Manager, CONSTELL Group, Geneva, asked the students to inhibit an idea of making everything possible with a prior view over the existing data and analysing the cut-throat and deciding the act to be made.

Ravi Eswarapu, Director and VP-Operations, Pen4Tech Solutions, Vizag and president ITAAP ratified how a leader can make a big empire and shared his experiences all the way from university to director of a leading Business Process Management handler Pena4 Tech Solutions.
