Will quit politics after this term: TSR
Rajya Sabha member Dr T Subbarami Reddy said this was his last term and he would quit active politics for good. He also added that none from his family was interested in politics but take an active part in religious activities.Â

Speaking to newsmen here on Thursday, Subbarami Reddy said he would also continue spiritual activities and strive for the development of Visakhapatnam in all spheres. On the occasion, he also reiterated his grand plans for a movie with the combination of Chiranjeevi and his brother Pawan Kalyan. He said the film will be directed by Trivikram Srinivas. “We are yet to decide on the theme of the movie and will finalise it in couple of months,’’ Reddy added.

He said TSR Lalithakala Parishat would be conducting Mahakumbabhishekam at RK Beach on Friday on the occasion of Maha Sivaratri and a huge Siva Lingam made with one crore small Siva Lingams had been erected for the special occasion.
The Abhishekam will begin at 9 am on Friday and as many as 150 artists would participate in the cultural programmes to be conducted all through the day till late into the night. “I have been conducting the Maha Sivaratri celebrations in a grand manner in Vizag for over the last two decades and my grandsons Rajeev and Anirudh will continue the tradition for Vizagites,’’ says Reddy.
Reddy said that well-known actor Suman Talwar (Suman) who doned the roles of Lord Venkateshwara, Lord Sri Rama and Lord Siva in Telugu movies will be honoured by TSR Lalithakala Parishat with the title of “Adhyathmika Nata Praveena” during the Maha Sivaratri celebrations at Beach Road on Friday evening.
Some local talented persons will also be honoured by him with TSR Siva Sakthi Awards during the Maha Sivaratri celebrations. A few persons from Tollywood and political personalities will participate in the festival.
