Four lakh devotees visit Pada Gaya temple

Pithapuram: As many as four lakh devotees thronged Pada Gaya temple here on Friday and took holy dip in Pushkarini before taking darshan of the temple deities. At the temple, special poojas were performed. There were separate queues for men and women. As many as 32 closed circuit cameras were arranged. Voluntary organisations supplied drinking water and buttermilk for the devotees.

They also provided milk to children. MLA SVSN Varma, Labour Minister Atchannaidu, Joint Collector Satyanarayana along with his family, Pithapuram Senior Civil Judge Ammanna Raja, Judicial First Class Magistrate K Hari Babu and Former Minister KVCH Mohana Rao were among those who had darshan.
