Vizianagaram: Police unravelled the mystery behind the suicide of a youth recently at Ramavaram village in Vizianagaram district. DSP of
Vizianagaram A V Ramana said here on Friday that G Santhosh Kumar (33), who was working with SISCO, a cash logistic company, was found
dead recently.
Collecting money from chit fund companies and Toll Plaza at Nathavalasa and depositing the cash in banks was his job. Recently, he had
absconded with Rs 46.60 lakh. Later, Denkada police registered a case against him, however, after a few days, he was found hanging from a
tree at Ramavadam village.
It is learnt that Santosh and his two friends K Anand and S Srinivas absconded with money and decided to distribute it among themselves later.
But, Santosh had scared of police and committed suicide. Later, the police took up investigation and came to know that Anand and Srinivas
were also involved in the incident. Now, the duo was arrested and Rs 46.12 lakh was seized from their possession.
