Amaravati: Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said the government would continue the Assembly session up to Ugadi from March 6. Speaking to media persons at Velagapudi here on Monday, he said the government would finalise the schedule in BAC meeting.

The joint session with both the houses including Assembly and Legislative council will be held on March 6. He said the government has decided to pay Rs 50,000 to each member for accommodation purpose instead of providing the accommodation as done earlier.

The ministers would be paid Rs 100000 for this purpose. The legislators of YSR Congress have accepted the proposal, he said. He hoped that the government could arrange all the facilities for the Assembly meetings next time.

On the other hand, he said the government is ready to face the Opposition parties. He opined that the debates should be done in a healthy atmosphere as it is the venue for discussing and making laws to solve the problem of the public.

He termed that the Assembly building is a temple and everyone should give respect for the house. He expressed satisfaction on the construction of Assembly building and available facilities.
