Guntur: Minister for Medical and Health Kamineni Srinivas on Thursday said that the government will provide all the necessary facilities to the medical students. He said they were distributing tabs to the medicos in all government medical colleges in the state to improve their skills and added they will provide buses soon.

Speaking on this occasion, Kamineni said that they are distributing tabs to students to enable them to prepare well before stepping in their classrooms and opined that the government has taken steps to provide medical services in the government hospitals on par with corporate hospitals.

He said that the Centre has agreed to reduce cut off marks in the NEET P G examination for medical examination. He said the government has taken steps to provide better infrastructure in the government hospitals and urged the junior doctors avail facilities provided by the government and render better services to the poor patients.

Medical Council of India chairman D Jayasree Mehta stressed on need to provide better medical services to the poor. She urged the doctors work with dedication and learn how to deal with the patients.

Principal Secretary Medical and Health Poonam Malakondaiah said that the government will provide WiFi facilities in government medical colleges soon. She further said that the government will promote eligible associate professors and associate professors soon.
