Vijayawada: YSRCP MLA R K Roja attended Gannavaram court here on Friday for a private case hearing. She filed the private case against Director General of Police N Sambasiva Rao and other police officials for allegedly disrupting her right as an MLA when she was coming to participate in the National Women`s Parliament conference at Pavitra Sangamam in Ibrahimpatnam recently.

Addressing the mediapersons at Gannavaram, Roja alleged that the TDP leaders have threatened her at Gannavaram while she was going to attend the hearing in the court. She sought to know from Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu if the YSRCP MLAs should take visa from him to visit any place in AP.

She termed Chandrababu Naidu`s rule as anarchic governance and said the TDP leaders also raised slogans against YSRCP president Y S Jagan while he was consoling the injured passengers in a private bus mishap during his visit to the Nandigama Area Hospital.

“Chandrababu Naidu has failed to fulfil the promises made to different sections of people in his party’s election manifesto,” she alleged.

Meanwhile, the TDP activists raised slogans against the Nagari MLA and they tried to reach Gannavaram court with party flags but police officials drove them away from the court premises. The court has adjourned the hearing to March 24.
