Amaravati: The State government wants to counter the allegations made by Opposition Leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy through the Budget speech of Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.

Jagan alleged that the State government was releasing false figures related to growth while speaking in Assembly on Tuesday. Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has already asked Jagan to ascertain facts before making statements.

It is learnt that the government is planning to highlight the progress achieved by the State in the Budget speech which will be made by the Finance Minister in the State Assembly on March 13. According to sources, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu discussed the budget speech details with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Velagapudi on Wednesday.

They discussed about the budget priorities and the allegations made by the opposition party on State development. The State government wants to present all the documents related to State progress in the current Assembly session.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu already made several suggestions to be incorporated in the Budget including his priorities for women and youth.

The same issue was discussed in the meeting. The government will also explain on the issues pending with the State. The Budget will give details of the progress in implementation of various welfare schemes.

The State government has planned to explain how it achieved top position in attracting investments, won awards in energy sector and improved growth rate.
