Addressing the Assembly, the Speaker on Tuesday said that the sudden death of Bhumi Nagi Reddy has brought him in the state of sorrow.

Apart from the Speaker, MLA Anitha Vangalapudi, Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma and MLA Jyothula Nehru too paid their tributes to the political leader.

TDP MLA Anitha said that it was unfortunate to lose a powerful leader like Bhumi Nagi Reddy and condemned the inhuman attitude of Opposition leader and YSR Congress Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for not attending the condolence session.

AP Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma too addressed the members of the Assembly on Tuesday wherein he recalled the political association of Bhuma Nagi Reddy and reminded the latter's interest to share the problems of his constituency related with the irrigation projects in the Rayalaseema region.

TDP MLA Jyothula Nehru hailed Bhuma Nagi Reddy as an established leader and that his activities were based on moral values and principles.
