YS Jagan takes up endowment lands in AP Assembly

Stating that there are several pending cases on occupied lands in courts where no action has been taken, the Deputy CM said that the Administrative staff is taking strict disciplinary action immediately in case of land acquisition adding that action is also taken against Tahsildar, PROs and Revenue Inspectors involved.
YSR Congress party Chief and leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took up endowment lands issue during the Question Hour saying that as per the act, endowment land can be given on lease at 10 percent per acre.
However, YS Jagan questioned the endowment department as to why the lands where being given for less than one percent.
In this regard, the YSRCP Chief even pointed out the new terms introduced by the state government giving a sales certificate instead of registration if someone comes forward for purchasing the land.
