In his speech, the Minister said that the plan is to make Amaravati, a world-class city and will be built on the basis of the 9 sectors. Stating that Andhra Pradesh has become the highlight of the country in many aspects, he said that post the partition of the state, the focus has been on the industrial development in order to provide employment for all and aim for good governance.

Having faced many challenges to survive post the bifurcation, the development has been progressive during the two and a half year regime, said Yanamala Ramakrishnudu adding that the budget is aimed to keep in mind the vision of 2029.

The Finance Minister pointed out that in a short span of time, they have managed to collect tens of thousands of acres of land from farmers in Amravati and set up Secretariat and Assembly buildings.

  • Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation: Rs 1,049 crore
  • General Education: Rs 19,897 crore
  • Technical Education: Rs 728 crore for technical education
