Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao denied the legislators opportunity to speak as they raised slogans and repeatedly disrupted the session.

War of words took place between the ruling and Opposition parties over the discussion of Polavaram project. Faulting TDP for taking the credit of the project, YSRCP Chief and leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy faulted TDP for taking credit of the project when it is there in the division act.

Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma Maheshwar Rao elaborated that the Center would allot funds through NABARD for the Polavaram project which would be completed by the end of 2019 and claimed that the project will fulfil drinking water needs of many areas in his constituency
