AP Assembly: YS Jagan, Atcham Naidu indulge in war of words
YSRCP Chief and the leader of opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took a strong jibe at Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu over the progress and the developments of the projects in the state.
YSRCP Chief and the leader of opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took a strong jibe at Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu over the progress and the developments of the projects in the state.
Pointing out that he and his father YS Rajasekhar Reddy had turned bad in the political circles of TDP and Congress immediately after his death, the YSRCP Chief alleged that they have foisted false cases against him and defended himself in the quid pro cases.
YS Jagan further alleged that late TDP leader Yerran Naidu and Chandrababu Naidu had filed a case against him after he left the Congress.
Reacting to the allegations made by YS Jagan, AP Labour Minister K Atcham Naidu asked him to clarify his stand on jail terms of some of the Industrial businessmen and questioned him to cite reasons on the IAS officers were forced to go to jail during YSR's regime in the united Andhra Pradesh.
Atcham Naidu condemned the remarks that Congress and TDP had mutually targeted YS Jagan and even went on to question him whether Sonia Gandhi helped him get out of prison after serving 17 months prison time.
The TDP Minister claimed that Jagan had misused the power of his father during the YSR regime and said that the latter has no ethical values to even raise the issue of corruption since there were 11 CBI cases against him while the ED seized Rs 47,000 crores worth properties.
