Nellore: A ten-year-old tribal girl who was allegedly raped by owner of a popular furniture mart in the city at his residence went missing after lodging a complaint with cops. Family members of the victim who hails from Alaganipadu of Vidavaluru mandal said to be missing for the last two days and whereabouts of them are still a mystery and role of the accused not ruled out.

Even villagers of Alaganipadu have no clue about the whereabouts of the Ayyappa and Lakshmi, parents of the victim. ‘They have not expressed about the incident as part of CrPC 164, recording any confession or statement of the victim before the magistrate. They admitted that they had lodged a complaint against Narasimha Rao by the influence of another person. We are investigating the case’, said City DSP G Venkata Ramudu.

The incident reportedly took place on March 14 as parents of the victim lodged a complaint with the V Town police after a couple of days after finding their daughter ill. The girl was working in the residence of Pasupuleti Narasimha Rao, owner of Madhavaiah furnitures who resides in sky-land apartments located in Ritwik enclave in current office area.
