Banaganapalle: Goddess Chowdeswari brahmotsavam celebrations will be held at Nandavaram in Kurnool district from March 29 to April 4, according to the temple executive officer Ramanujan and the temple chairman PV Kumar Reddy on Sunday. All arrangements have been put in place to celebrate the event on a grand scale.
The celebrations will commence with reading out from the almanac for the Telugu New Year. The wedding of Lord Chennakesavaswamy with his Consorts Bhudevi and Sridevi is scheduled on March 30. On April 1, sahasranama kumkumarchana of the Goddess Chowdeswari will be performed. Later in the day, Chowdeswari Jyoti Mahotsavam will be performed. A car festival will be held on April 2. On the final day on April 4, vasantotsavam will be performed.
