Srikakulam: TDP government has been neglecting Srikakulam district, accused Former Minister and YSRCP senior leader Dharmana Prasada Rao.

He staged a protest along with party leaders and cadre at KR stadium, here on Monday and charged the government with delay in modernisation works of the stadium in sports minister K Atchannaidu’s native district. Speaking on the occasion, Dharmana questioned as why Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu laid foundation stone for the stadium on 4 May 2016 without issuing administrative sanctions.

“This practice is against administrative traditions and rules. He is cheating the people of Srikakulam. TDP district leaders failed to get even a single reputed institution to the district after bifurcation of state. It is proof how the TDP government is neglecting the backward district,” he accused.

He alleged that Naidu is concentrating only on real estate business around Amaravathi and leaving all developmental activites. YSRCP district president, R Shanthi, MV Padmavathi, S Rajasekar, Dr P Maheswara Rao and others were present.
