Laying a foundation stone for the ring road project at Yerrabalem in Amaravati, the Chief Minister said it will change the very face of the capital once completed. It is expected to be completed by next Ugadi, he added.

Terming the seven roads are diamonds, he said the roads would be laid in 68.85 km distance radius with an estimated cost of Rs 1,051 crore. The roads would be laid with international standards by developing at both sides with greenery at cost of Rs 4.46 crore.

The Amaravati capital city will have best infrastructure facilities in the world, including India's biggest Outer Ring Road. The capital city would have connectivity to five national highways, two ports Machilipatnam-Chennai and Chennai, Howrah railway linkage along with air connectivity he said and added the Amaravati capital city would get world reorganization.

The super express highway lane also would be connected to Amaravati from Bengaluru through Anantapur
The road would reduce the journey time to four hours from Rayalaseema districts to capital city. Water taxis would be introduced as part of internal transportation in the capital, he explained.

He criticised the Opposition YSR Congress indirectly for creating hurdles to capital construction. The government is making plans to construct world class capital even the State is under financial crisis. The people were requested to support development instead of political interests. He said the government is taking steps to empower all castes and regions. He reiterated the government would not stop any development plans.

The city is being planned to construct for organizing the International Olympics also. The city would be model to self-respect of Telugus, he said. The capital city construction and Polavaram projects are two important tasks to him personally he said and added he does not have any selfish expect State development.

He thanked the landowners of Amaravati for giving their 33,000 acres of lands for capital city construction. Plan of seven roads Three roads would be laid from the east direction to the west while four road to be constructed from the north direction to the south. Some roads are formed as six-lane roads and some as four-lane.
