Vizianagaram: Ground water level is dipping in north Andhra districts, according to National Remote Sensing Control Authority. Dr V Y N K Murthy, Director of NRSCA, was present at a three-day international seminar on ‘Emerging trends in water resources and environmental engineering’ organised at MVGR Engineering College.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the State and Central governments are spending a huge amount on environment and water conservation projects. Dr Rakesh Khosha, Professor of IIT Delhi, said that civil engineering is now can be considered as a multi-disciplinary education.
