Nellore: Fourth town police nabbed a gang, who in the guise of auto drivers robbed passengers in the city when they travel in autos. Police seized two autos from them. Accused were identified as Kotapudi Siva Kumar, Uppala Chandu, Sk. Subhani, and Palleti Venkatesh.
Nellore City DSP G Venkata Ramudu said on Thursday that K SivaKumar was from Mudivarthi village in Vidavalur mandal, U Chandu from Gummalapalem in TP Gudur mandal, Sk.Subhani from Bujabuja Nellore, and P Venkatesh from Auto Nagar in the city limits.
Police official said they formed a gang and involved in many offences.They attract customer by offering low fares and loot him on his way.
