Tribal ‘MART’ store opened
ITDA, Rampachodavaram on Thursday introduced mandal nodal resource stores to supply genuine products to tribal and at the same time to stop fake and spurious products in Agency areas.

Launching MART store here, Project Officer of ITDA, A.S. Dinesh Kumar said that they have already started this type of stores under Velugu scheme in Rajavommangi and Addateegala mandal headquarters which are getting good response and now it is being launched in Rampachodavaram. He said that tribal will get quality goods with exact weight and measures and also branded products in this MART.
He said that these stores will be maintained only by tribal women and all the village level small groceries shops which are attached to these MARTs will get products through a woman employee from the MARTs directly once in a week or fortnight according to demand. He added that transportation and other charges will be borne by the ITDA only.
