CM, Jagan spar over their academic qualifications
An interesting argument on academic qualifications of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy attracted the attention of House and even officials attended the Assembly. Some of the senior officers were seen giggling when both the leaders ridiculed each other on their education qualification.

Chief Minister asked Opposition members “In which educational institute your leader took his last examination”. He (Jagan) could not reveal the name of institution he studied, said Chief Minister amidst the laughter of the members of treasury benches.

“A person who can’t share the name of his educational institution’ is demanding cancelation of examination” Chief Minister said, hinting at Y S Jagan.
The CM also said that he would not give reply to an accused in financial scams such as Harshad Mehta and Satyam Ramalinga Raju. Reacting to this, Jagan said he studied in Hyderabad Public School and secured first class in SSC, Inter and degree.
“I am not like Chandrababu Naidu who claimed to have completed the Ph.D but couldn’t complete it. Also, I am not like Chandrababu Naidu who discontinued his Ph.D”, Jagan retorted.
Ruling party leaders such as Yanamala Ramakrishnudu often ridiculed Jaganmohan Reddy in Assembly on his education qualification. Finally, Jaganmohan Reddy hit back at CM saying that he has poor command over English language and recalled how Telangana Minister KTR commented on the English-speaking skills of Naidu,” he added.
