Visakhapatnam: GITAM Dental College and Hospital hosted the 11th graduation day at its auditorium here on Thursday. Dr NTR University of Health Sciences Vice-Chancellor Prof T Ravi Raju was the chief guest and awarded the certificates and medals to the graduates, along with GITAM Vice-President Prof M Gangadhara Rao, GITAM Dental College principal Prof K Gangadhara.Prasad.
While delivering the graduation address, Prof T Ravi Raju advised the students to serve the society with human touch. He said the technology is playing a key role in medical field, but the feel of humanity has been missing. He said that continuing education is needed in the medical field for that the Medical Council of India and Dental Council India giving high priority to credit points. He said that because of GITAM, the city of destiny Visakhapatnam is getting national wide reputation.
The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the graduates for their successful completion of course.
