New Dy chairman for Legislative Council

Amaravati: MLC Reddy Subrahmanyam has been nominated as deputy chairman of Legislative Council. Chief Minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu, who met TDP MLCs in his chamber at the Assembly in Velagapudi on Thursday, confirmed the name of Reddy Subrahmanayam after deliberations with them.

Subrahmanyam will replace SV Satish Reddy, who retired on March 28 after completion of his term. According to sources Chief Minister confirmed the name of Reddy Subrahmanyam, who belongs to Setty Balija community from East Godavari district. Later, Reddy Subrahmanyam filed his nomination for the post of deputy chairman.
