Tirupati in Rayalaseema and Jangamaheswarapuram in the coastal region recorded the highest day temperature of 40 degrees Celsius each, the Met department bulletin said.

The lowest night temperature of 21 degrees Celsius was recorded in Nandigama and Arogyavaram.
According to the forecast, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in the coastal districts on April 3, as the upper air cyclonic circulation over north interior Karnataka and its neighbourhood lies over north interior Karnataka and adjoining south MP between 0.9 km and 1.5 km above the mean sea level.

The upper air cyclonic circulation over south Chhattisgarh and its adjoining Odisha at 0.9 km above the mean sea level has become less marked.
