Amaravati: YSRCP Nagari MLA R K Roja alleged that the tragic accident took place in Anand Aqua Company at Mogalturu village in West Godavari district on Thursday due to negligence of the State government. Five workers lost their lives in the mishap.

Roja further alleged that the deaths were caused by pollution and inaction of the government machinery to keep vigil on the aqua plants. She wondered why Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu failed to visit the village to console the families of the victims who died in the mishap.

Roja criticised the government stating that it has no time to resolve the problems of the people and questioned why the Chief Minister could not visit the village when five workers lost their lives.

The YSRCP MLA charged that the ruling TDP prevented discussion on important issues in the Assembly. There was no response from the government on the notices issued by the Opposition party on adjournment motions, she alleged. Most of the Assembly time was wasted by the TDP, she added.

Tuni MLA D Raja alleged that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu treated the Mogalturu incident as a minor incident and had not given due importance to it. The Chief Minister sent three ministers to Mogalturu when he came to know that Opposition Leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was going to spot, he added.
