After consoling the victims, the CITU leaders alleged that the aqua factory management is trying to divert the serious issue of five deaths in the processing plant. He said that the management has used a worker Nallam Satyanarayana to sidetrack the main case.

The worker Satyanarayana stated that the deaths occurred due to electrocution and not due to ammonium gas leakage. He said that first, the police should arrest Satyanarayana immediately for the wrong statement on the issue.

He stated that villagers are agitating over three years against the processing units which pollute the water resources of these villages. However, the government did not respond so far and it is unfortunate, he stated.K Swaroopa Rani said that the government has made statements that they gave lakhs of rupees as compensation.
