The party leaders praised Venkaiah for achieving the special package for the state and getting union cabinet approval for it. He was instrumental in granting 100 per cent finances for Polavaram project, they said.
Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas, BJP state spokesman G Bhanuprakash Reddy, party district president B Chandra Reddy, leaders like Santha Reddy, G Gopinath Reddy and others were present.
Venkaiah’s intervention sought TTD Trust Board member G Bhanuprakash Reddy requested Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu here on Friday, to speak to the National Monuments Authority (NMA) officials for getting necessary approvals for taking up development works of Vontimitta temple in Kadapa district.
Bhanuprakash Reddy said that developmental works will be completed in time if the approvals are secured at the earliest. The TTD had sent the proposals the state-level officials. They, in turn, forwarded them to the NMA.
