Guntur: Municipal councillor in Ponnur town Shaik Mukthyar Begum resigned from her post to register her protest for not accommodating MLA Dhulipala Narendra Kumar in the Cabinet.
She is representing 5th ward in the municipality. She submitted her resignation to Ponnur municipal commissioner. In her resignation letter, she said D Narendra Kumar fought against the Congress government when the TDP was in opposition.
She reminded that though the Congress government had harassed him, he continued in the party.In spite of it he was not given Cabinet berth.
