Based on the complaint, the party high command constituted a three-member committee which submitted a report after a probe. When Janimun leveled allegations against Ravela Kishore Babu, the high command felt that this episode tarnished the image of the party. The TDP high command took the matter seriously.

Meanwhile, Vemur MLA Nakka Ananad Babu, who was inducted into Cabinet, joined the party in 1987. He is the follower of MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad, besides this, he is enjoying the support of the majority MLAs in the district. When Ravela Kishore Babu was removed, Nakka Anand Babu was picked up in his place.

He worked as a Telugu Yuvatha district president, TDP district organising secretary for three years. He worked as TDP district vice-president for five years. He took active part in Samaikyaandhra agitation. He was elected to the State Legislative Assembly from Vemuru in 2009 and 2014 Assembly elections.

Though MLC Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad also expected berth in the Cabinet, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu gave preference to Nakka Anand Babu as the latter had been working for the party since 27 years. He was twice elected to Assembly from Vemuru. While Dokka Manikya Varaprasad shifted his loyalties from Congress to TDP recently and was appointed as Minimum Wage Advisory Board chairman.

Furthermore, MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy was disappointed as at the time of Assembly elections Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reportedly had assured Cabinet berth to him. Though he was an MP, following his directive he had contested as an MLA, but the Chief Minister has failed to keep up his promise.
