Elderly woman killed
An elderly woman Narasamma (55) died on the spot when a marriage tractor overturned at Kairuppala in Aspari Mandal on Sunday morning. According to the sources, a tractor boarded with 40 persons was heading to Pathikonda to attend a wedding.

Thikkaiah of Mulugundam has fixed his daughter Lakshmi’s marriage to one Nagesh of Atikelagundu village in Pathikonda constituency.The marriage was finalised for Sunday at bride groom’s residence in Atikelagundu. The bride and a few relatives were said to have gone to groom’s house on Saturday night while some other are supposed to attend the wedding on Sunday.
The left over relatives boarded a tractor and were going to Atikelagundu on Sunday morning from Mulugundam village. The tractor boarded with 40 persons was said to have overturned at a sharp curve near a high school in Aspari. Of the 40 passengers 20 received injuries while Narasamma died on the spot.
All injured were rushed to Adoni area hospital for extending treatment. Of the 20 persons four were said to be in a critical position according to the doctor’s statement. On learning about the incident, the Aspari police rushed to the spot and sent the body for post mortem and later handed over to the relatives. A case has been registered and took up investigation. Despite of tragedy the wedding has been organized.
