Tirurai: APCC president N Raghuveera Reddy criticised Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for not including anyone from Muslim minorities into his Cabinet.
Speaking to the media at Tirupati airport, he pointed out that during the last three years, the Chief Minister has not given a Cabinet berth to any Muslim or tribal.
Everyone hoped that at least in this Cabinet expansion, he will do justice to Muslims and tribals, but he disappointed them. It clearly shows that the TDP
government in the state is implementing the agenda of BJP. If a Muslim or a tribal is accommodated in the state Cabinet it may cause anger to Prime Minister
Modi, criticised Raghuveera.
With this fear, Chandrababu Naidu is not taking them into his team, the PCC chief alleged. So, it is clear that Naidu is following Modi’s agenda which the
Congress is strongly opposing, he said. Since Independence, the Muslims and Tribals occupied many important positions and sacrifices for the country.
The present TDP government is treating them as second grade citizens which is against the spirit of the Constitution, he said.
