Andhra Pradesh BC joint Action Committee convenor and East Godavari Settibalija and Gowda Association president Chollangi Venugopal admitted that no doubt the two are very capable leaders. But at the same time he said that it is a strategic decision because the BC communities are opposed to Kapu quota.
“We even filed a case in High Court over the issue and held demonstrations in both the districts since the Kapu quota is bound to hamper the interests of BCs in the state, he observed. We strongly believe that this move is definitely to pacify the BC social sections.
