While isolated rain occurred in coastal Andhra Pradesh, dry weather prevailed in Rayalaseema.The bulletin said the day temperatures likely to be above normal by two to three degrees Celsius at a few places in Rayalaseema for the next two days.

During the last 24 hours the maximum temperatures rose at one or two places in coastal Andhra. There was no large change in Rayalaseema.The highest maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius was recorded in Anantapur. The other emperatures recorded in the State were:

Kurnool 42, Kadapa, Nandyal, Kavali, Nellore 41 each, Tirupati 40,Nandigama, Jangamaheswarapuram 40 each, Arogyavaram 39, Vijayawada 38, Ongole, Tuni 37 each, Machilipatnam 36, Kakinada 35, Narsapur, Visakhapatnam Airport 34 each, Bapatla 33, Kalingapatnam 32 and Visakhapatnam 31.
