The TTD has urged Union Ministers to give the required approvals for the development works at Vontimitta in Kadapa district.
Tirupati: The TTD has urged Union Ministers to give the required approvals for the development works at Vontimitta in Kadapa district.The TTD team comprising JEO P Bhaskar, Trust Board member G Bhanu Prakash Reddy and archaeology wing director Munirathnam met Union Ministers M Venkaiah Naidu and Mahesh Sharma in New Delhi on Monday and apprised them of the need to take up the development works at Vontimitta Ramalayam.
It may be noted that the TTD took over the temple after bifurcation of the State. The proposals for the works to be taken up were sent to the State authority, which sent them to National Monument Authority.The Minister for Culture Mahesh Sharma discussed about the proposals with the officials of National Monument Authority and assured to give quick approvals for the works.
