Kakinada: The left parties have shown considerable interest to work in coordination with Jan Sena chief Pawan Kalyan as his ideology in the form of welfare of poor and common man is suited to our ideality said CPM Andhra Pradesh State Council member Dadala Subba Rao and CPI East Godavari unit secretary Tatipaka Madhu.

Disclosing the details of their opinion to this correspondent on Monday, the two leaders said that issues like Agri Gold victims, the problems being faced by handloom weavers are some of the issues in which the film star turned politician extended his solidarity and support though the left parties have taken to agitation path on the issues earlier the two leaders said.

When asked about Pawan’s inclination towards BJP and his support to BJP- TDP combine during 2014 polls, the two leaders admitted that the Jana Sena chief is no longer inclined towards BJP on the issue of SCS to AP. He even expressed his willingness to work with left parties during his meeting with CPI leader K. Rama Krishna who met him quite some time ago. The CPM veteran leader Sitaram Yechuri too welcomed the decision of Pawan Kalyan they said.

Commenting on likely tie up with Jana Sena in next polls, both Dadala and Tatipaka said that for the time being their common agenda is to fight for the cause of common man. The electoral alliance issue for 2019 polls can be decided at later stage they said.

Commenting on the Left -Jana Sena coming together on ideological issues, TDP state organising secretary Yerra Venugopal Rayudu observed that as of now the TDP welcomed some suggestions made by Pawan Kalyan. Further to this he did not make any adverse comments on TDP. We hope that our relations will continue in future also the TD leader said.
