Govt to strive for sports development
Minister for Sports, Youth Services and Judiciary Kollu Ravindra said that the state government would strive for the development of sports in the state. Ravindra sought the help of the sports associations and sports officer to extend their support to the government in this regard

Vijayawada: Minister for Sports, Youth Services and Judiciary Kollu Ravindra said that the state government would strive for the development of sports in the state. Ravindra sought the help of the sports associations and sports officer to extend their support to the government in this regard.
Andhra Pradesh Baseball Association felicitated Minister Kollu Ravindra at his camp office in the city on Tuesday. Association general secretary MV Satya Prasad, organising secretary K Suguna Rao and others felicitated Minister. Speaking on the occasion,
the Minister said that he would organise a meeting with all the sports associations’ and officers for taking uggestions to develop the sports facilities in the state. The state government has been giving top priority for sports and games, also the government introduced new sports policy, he added.
Later, he presented certificates those who passed baseball game referee tests which conducted in Odisha recently.Baseball association representatives Daram Naveen kumar, T Tulasi Rao, M Sulil, School Games Federation former secretary Y Murali, Table Tennis coach Y Damodar Reddy, senior player MVS Venugopal and others participated.
