Rajamahendravaram: Employees of the housing corporation in the state crying foul over the discrimination. All the departments are enjoying retirement at the age of 60 years, but, the employees of the housing corporation are not fortunate enough to get their retirement at the age of 58 years.

Employees of Housing Corporation have gone through hard time due to the fear of salary based on the performance.
It may be recalled that the chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has increased the retirement age from 58 to 60 years and implemented 10th PRC after coming to power.

Though the finance department has released circular implementing PRC for all the departments, the employees of the Housing Corporation expressing anguish that they were not being implemented 10th PRC.They are urging the government to implement on increasing retirement age to 60 years through interim order.

Though PRC has been implanted to 32 public sector organisations in the state, the housing corporation was ignored.
Simultaneously, housing Corporation was not given age relaxation for retirement even though all the corporations in the state were entitled.

As the employees of the corporation are retiring at the age of 58 years, employees have to bear the burden of additional work due to not filling up the retired posts. There is no word of promotions for the posts of assistant engineers, deputy executive engineers, executive engineers, project directors, assistant mangers and managers in the department.

The corporation is falling short of their targets due to vacant places. The employees are urging the government to increase the retirement age of at least engineers through interim order to reach targets.
