Market value to be paid for lands acquired for NH 216 :Gandham Chandrudu

Vijayawada: Krishna district Joint Collector Gandham Chandrudu gave assurance to the farmers who gave their lands to the extension of 216 National Highway that they would be paid compensation as per market value.
Joint Collector, who visited the road extension works in Bantumilli mandal of Krishna district on Tuesday, had a meeting with the farmers and said that they was no need for concern on giving lands to road extension works. “The state government is in favour farmers and ready to offer market value to the lands,” he said.
The NH 216 is under extension from Kathipudi to Ongole through Krithivenu, Bantumilli, Pedana, Matchilipatnam, Chalapalli and Avanigadda of Krishna district.
